Half way through our Norway dates already and I truly believe these are the best shows my company has produced to date. The acting, sets, costumes, music and dare I say direction have come together to create something truly exceptional. Photo: Mina Anwar being amused by the ever-mischievous Wayne Sleep, and the bust of William Shakespeare at Ramme Gaard.
Our stage crews are already preparing the Edinburgh venue for the opening this tuesday night. Tickets are available at Usher Hall, or by telephoning 0131 228 1155 or 0870 906 3866 (24 hours), or pay on the door on the night.

Friday night at Markeaton Park was a perfect summer’s evening for open air Shakespeare. Blue sky, birds singing and a great performance by the cast. Above: Robert J Williamson (Nick Bottom) and Mina Anwar (Titania). Photographs of the tour in Derby can now be seen on a new gallery page in the main part of our site. Elsewhere in the park, people played cricket, walked dogs, picniced - the very essence of English summertime. Tickets are still available for tonight’s show. Please bring something warm to wear later in the evening.

The festival opened in the magnificent setting of Rochester Castle last night. The weather was perfect, the cast superb. Above - Lady Capulet played by Maxine Gregory and Capulet, David Davies. Cast photographs can now be seen on a new gallery page in the main part of our site. Already our thoughts are turning to next weekend’s venue - Markeaton Park in Derby.
