Outreach and Education Programme

The British Shakespeare Company is proud to have begun an international programme to work with children and students in hands-on programmes and workshops that bring Shakespeare’s text to life.

These workshops are designed to get the student audiences up on their feet, experiencing the magic of speaking and performing the Bard for themselves.  

By working with teachers to understand the needs and obstacles young people face when it comes to classical text, students will develop an appetite for Shakespeare and theatre they will carry with them for life.

We can...

• Arrange workshops across all age groups and requirements.
• Arrange workshops at our venues during tours or in schools.
• Provide full scale productions to schools requirements.
• Provide workshops and then schools parties can attend a production with a post show cast talk.
