9th Nottingham Shakespeare Festival
Nottingham Playhouse, Nottingham
13th to 16th July 2006

Following last year's sell-out success the British Shakespeare Company are proud to return for the 9th Nottingham Shakespeare Festival.

Two of Shakespeare's most popular plays - A Midsummer Night's Dream, his best loved romantic comedy and Romeo & Juliet, the greatest love story ever told.

These productions are performed in beautiful Elizabethan costumes by a cast of sixteen of Britain's finest professional Shakespearian actors. They will include live music, action, exciting sword fights and hilarious comedy all set in the stunning natural surroundings that Shakespeare intended for his plays.

A magical open-air festival of love, laughter and amorous adventure, performed by a company that continues to delight audiences and critics alike.
