The British Shakespeare Company is ‘Britain’s
largest and best loved open air Shakespeare Company’ – The BBC
The company has been performing traditional Shakespeare all over
the UK and abroad for the last 14 years. It employs professional actors
who have trained at world renowned establishments such as RADA and
The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and who have previously worked for
companies such as The Royal Shakespeare Company and The National Theatre.
We would like to give you the opportunity of putting your company’s
name ‘up in lights’ whilst helping the BSC to continue
it’s programme in taking Shakespeare to many thousands of people
each year. What could we do for you?
1) Place you company details and logo on our website
(which receives in excess of 20,000 unique visitors per month from
all over the world) showing that you are a sponsor.
2) Place your company
details and logo on all of our advertising material. This includes
huge banners in and around each city we visit. Hundreds of thousands
of posters and handbills and of course in the programme.
3) Provide hospitality for your company and guests,
either in the form of a number of seats at each performance or a special
one off performance specifically for you, depending on what you would
prefer and on the amount of sponsorship provided. We could arrange
drinks and socialising with the cast and company.
4) As we always have at least one well known ‘name’ in
each production ( in 2006 Wayne Sleep, Mina Anwar and Sean Brosnan
and in 2007 James Alexandrou - Martin Fowler Eastenders and Stacey
Roca - The Office) a number of TV, Radio and press interviews both
national and regional are undertaken. Once again our sponsor’s
details/logos would be shown wherever possible.
5) Details of your company and logo displayed in
a prominent position at each venue.
The British Shakespeare Company receives no Lottery or Arts Council
funding and relies of Sponsorship and donations to continue its excellent
and unique work
